I. Teaching Methods

All professional courses are English-instructed.

In terms of guidance, a supervisor group for international students is established. Each group consists of 3-5 professional professors who are responsible for formulating research plans; offering academic guidance; checking the progress of students in various fields, etc.

 II. Main courses

The credits for this program are set to 14 credits.

The course is divided into four modules:

（1）Degree courses

统计学理论前沿、统计学方法论等；

Frontiers of Statistics Theory, Statistics Methods, etc.;

（2）Compulsory courses

中国汉语和中国概况等；

Chinese langugae and the outline of China, etc.;

（3）Elective courses

金融风险管理专题、金融时间序列等

Financial risk management topics, financial time series, etc.;

（4）Academic activities

博士研究生应积极参加国内外各项学术会议和学术活动。

PhD students should actively participate in various academic conferences and activities at home and abroad.

III. Scholarships and Research Funding

为了激励博士生的学习积极性，提高学生培养质量，我们为每位博士生提供独立的科研用房和办公设备。

加大科研经费的投入，最高可达2万元/人，高层次论文发表可另外申请每篇3K-5K的科研配套奖励

Increasing the research funding, up to 20,000 yuan per person. If you have a high-level SCI paper published, you can apply for each 3K-5K scientific research supporting award.
