On September 23, the School of Statistics and Mathematics held a symposium for international students in the new semester of the 2022 academic year in Conference Room 644 of the Office Building. Chen Ji, Vice Dean of the School, Chen Tinggui, Director of the Institute of International Financial Statistics, Li Kai, Dean of the Department of International Business Statistics, Fang Guanqi, Thesis Advisor of International Students, and all international students attended the meeting.

Mr.Chen Ji made arrangements for the work related to international students this semester, and made requirements for all aspects of daily management such as education and teaching, epidemic prevention and control, etc. Then, Dr. Li Kai and Dr. Fang Guanqi gave a detailed explanation to the students about the on-campus training form of undergraduates, as well as the specifications and time course of undergraduate graduation theses. Professor Chen Tinggui reminded the master and doctor to strengthen communication with their supervisors during their international careers, pay attention to the quality of their graduation theses, and highlight the originality of their dissertations.

Finally, Ms. Guo Yuanyuan, the international student administrator, gave corrective feedback on the problems found in the weekly dormitory safety inspection, and once again asked all students to complete the health check-in and night roll call on time, and pay attention to personal and property safety protection.
