——统计学院举办2020级国际新生见面会

11月15日，统计学院举办了2020级国际生新生云见面会。统计学院副院长陈骥教授、国际金融统计研究所所长陈庭贵博士、国际生管理员郭园园老师、国际生老生代表和全体新生参加了这次特殊的线上见面会。线上见面会由郭园园老师主持。

On November 15, the School of Statistics and Mathematics held the 2020 International Student Freshmen Online Meeting. Professor Chen Ji, Deputy Dean of the School of Statistics，Chen Tinggui, Director of the Institute of International Financial Statistics， Guo Yuanyuan, student counsellor，representative of current international students and all freshmen attended this special online meeting. The meeting was hosted by Guo Yuanyuan.

陈骥副院长代表学院师生对全体新生的到来表示热烈的欢迎。他向新生介绍了浙江工商大学和统计学院的基本情况，并对新生提出几点要求：一是希望留学生们可以严格遵守中国的法律法规，遵守学校的各项规章制度，加强交流、增进理解，求同存异、和谐包容。二是希望他们认真规划好留学生涯，把学习作为首要任务，努力拼搏、百炼成才。三是希望留学生们成为“一双眼睛”和“一座桥梁”促进中外思想对话，搭建跨文化交流桥梁，成为“留学浙商大”名片的国际代言人。

At the beginning of the meeting, Deputy Dean Chen Ji extended a warm welcome to all the freshmen on behalf of the teachers and students of the school. He gave a brief introduction of Zhejiang Gongshang University and the School of Statistics to all freshmen and put forward several requirements for the freshmen: First, he hopes that the international students can strictly abide by Chinese laws and regulations, abide by the school's rules and regulations, strengthen exchanges, enhance understanding, and seek common ground while reserving differences. Second, he hopes that students will carefully plan their study abroad career, take study as the first task, work hard and become talented. Last he hopes that international students will become "a pair of eyes" and "a bridge" to promote dialogue between Chinese and foreign ideas, build a bridge for cross-cultural exchanges, and become international spokespersons for "Study in ZJSU".

国际金融统计研究所所长陈庭贵老师结合硕士和博士的培养方案，向全体新生介绍了课程体系，学分要求和考核方式等，帮助新生更好的了解所学专业的毕业要求和专业特点。

Then, Dr. Chen Tinggui, director of the International Institute of Financial Statistics, combined the master's and doctoral training programs, introduced the curriculum system, credit requirements and assessment methods to all freshmen, helping freshmen to better understand the graduation requirements and professional characteristics of their majors.

最后，由国际生管理员郭园园老师向全体新生介绍了浙江工商大学国际生学籍管理规定和规章制度要求，她希望留学生们能珍惜机会，学业有成，在浙江工商大学实现自己的学术梦想，度过一生中美好而难忘的留学时光。

Finally, student counsellorGuo Yuanyuan introduced to all freshmen the regulations and requirements of Zhejiang Gongshang University’s international student status management. She hopes that international students can cherish the opportunity, achieve academic success, and realize their dreams in ZJSU and spend a wonderful and unforgettable study abroad time in their life.

全体新生们在听取了老生代表高博（BOYETEY GIDEON BUERNARTEY）的经验分享之后，也轮流进行了自我介绍。各位国际留学生表示，通过本次见面会，使大家对统计学院有了更多的了解，也为未来的学习生活树立了新的目标与计划，期待全体新生在浙江工商大学开启美好的大学生活。 

All the freshmen also took turns to introduce themselves after listening to the experience sharing of the current student representative 高博. Through this meeting, everyone has a better understanding of the School , and also established new goals and plans for the future study and life. We hope that all freshmen can have a good and fruitful life in china!
